1:33. The preservation of that six thousand year old cigarette is amazing. I bet it’s a Camel.

That dramatisation of the man dropping the water jug is so...accurate. That was how I found a man in the Grand Canyon when my son and I took a "short hike" . there was a heat wave, and this man had hiked from the bottom that day. I found his water bottle first. I found him lying by the trail next. I got some water in him and walked with him up to the rim. He was the one of three parties my son and I met who had been badly affected by the extreme heat. The brain shuts down fast when it gets too hot.

What a waste of time. Clickbait. fyi they never conclusively find anything. They stumble across a handful of unknown scraps. Nothing conclusive. This could’ve been shortened down into 3 min

8:35 I think the Persians could have made their arrow heads a bit better… but man, they sure could roll a hell of a cigarette.

Clickbait. This was just a road trip where they stepped on some human skull bits and did no archeology. What was the point?

So how did Herodotus know that they got halfway before getting buried by a sandstorm?

This may be a silly question, but if they know where the site is, why not fly an airplane over it and take photos, before driving all that far?

Science World Report, article by Benita Matilda, 2014 -- "They were not swallowed up by a sandstorm as ancient historians would like us to believe but very likely defeated by a rebel army and to cover up the ignominious defeat, subsequent rulers supported the fable of a great sandstorm swallowing an army, according to an Egyptologist Olaf Kaper, professor at Leiden University"

Once again we are treated to an hour of nothing. The soldiers f they existed are gone and no one has found them. Come back to us when you have an answer... really a lot of my time for nothing. One day I will learn. But not here!

Should be renamed "Not Finding The Remains..."
This makes me very skeptical of any other videos from this channel.

This video is about nothing really. I perceived it. I just clicked few moments before the end to see that nothing is found. I rescued hour wasted from my precious life.

Clickbait. Numerous remains ( including a persian dagger ) of the lost persian army have been discovered and recovered since years. They are showcased in the Castiglioni museum in Italy.
