After having couple of Mercedes-Benz E550 and Compressor, driving Jeep Wrangler 4x4 now. Mercedes-Benz maintenance was too high, so did Volvo XC-90. Love my wrangler, much cheaper to maintain. Good luck to you with your BMW.

So true, nothing drives like a BMW, especially the X5 and X7. Also I don't think for reverse and parallel parking you need to push the gas, it does it on its own, my X7 does, and am assuming it's the same software for the 5 series too.
