I had one 50cc Honda Cub, which I think should be its 1st model in the early 1960s. Very cheap as compared to motorcycles of the West. Very durable, cheap to operate and maintain. Honda became a trusted brand after that

I used to commute on the 50cc and later the 90cc version of this in 1968-1973 in London saving money versus the train. I was a 20 something young exec then. I’m 81 now. They were great machines and so reliable and easy to ride.

I love how they have blended retro looks with modern technology. Even the colour is retro - the original Cub was available in these colours in the 1960s.

These bikes are very convenient for local usage as well as for younger gen ladies. In India there was m 80 which is apparently very similar but 2 stroke . Also herohonda had street - 100 . Both these vehicles where very good. Even now, if Honda cub is introduced in India, definitly the younger generations will accept it - especially the lady commuters are increasing day- by day.
