Great video. That graph on Flo-Jo was brilliant and very interesting. On the women's side, the most relaxed sprinter now is Elaine Thompson-Herah. Her last 60m race of the year against Ewa Swoboda for example, showed the contrast between the two. Ewa was struggling to get out of the blocks quickly and reach the finish line and you could see it all over her face and neck. Elaine on the other hand, was so relaxed it looked like she was just running in the park and only lost by 0.01 seconds. She also easily just ran the world lead in the 100m at 10.89. She got her relaxation technique from Flo-Jo as mentioned in one of your videos. Keep up the good work.

Very usefull 😎no one knows these types of techniques in India that's the reason no one can break 10 seconds in my country 😢your techniques are incredible👍👍👍

I love your thought provoking, concluding statement & fact: "It's not how fast you run, it's how you run fast‽"

Jacobs and Coleman both have some long jumping background(Coleman just in high school), this they're sprinting relaxed with a cutoff stride. There's training footage of Jacobs going through 20metre this past year, on the track in 12high knees(rather than 13 during his 100m 2021), thing is he maybe doesnt do long jump specific gruelling taxing training anymore, but still has that force output, and could probably go through 30metre and 40metre at 16 high knees or 20high knees. Filippo tortu has an even longer training power stride length, he went through 20metre 30, 40, taking 11high knees, 15, and 19.

Coleman you could see his stride power right from the blocks with his dead A skip(I'd coin it a fast twitch A trail B hitch w/straight single leg assymetrical), so his single leg speed dead A's over 10 or 20metre per side are probably at around 5or 6steps per second while alternating straight right to the dead A hitch trail. This is why his start is so fast it may pause him momentarily to some or make it seem as if he's stalling at ground contact, but based on what we've seen this year, just how he walks around and carries himself btwn starts or after the race, you could see he is more relaxed with that new front side elastic more relaxed dorsiflexion. If he could manage his dead A skip speed plantar flex and hybridize it with his new late endurance relaxation he could get 9.6x or 9.5x.

"Everyone knows that you will run faster when you are relaxed" I certainly did not know that, when I'm relax I'm at jogging pace, I can't see how I can relax if I'm running for my life in the 100m.

Hi! Could you please do the same diagram for Usain Bolt's record run?

razor_ramon_

So you should increase your effort a few times during the race?

It's helpful if u support India to use the right training techniques

Usain bolt and asafa Powell also run relaxed in races U don't mention how long they can maintain top speed before they start decelerating or how long it takes them to run out of air

Yes but how do you apply thus to the 400? someone PLEASE ANSWER THIS QUESTION❗️❗️❗️

seriously you are ignoring so many factors and passing off as science. Flo Jo was seemingly efficient purely due to have a huge strength advantage due to AAS. Any athlete with super strength has the advantages of that strength.
you cant take the absolute freaks and then suggest common rules for all. Thats nonsense. And its not a skills thing.
The bottom line is that if you do the training, and have the genetics to be strong, disciplined, lean and technically competent then you will be fast.
if you do all of that but dont have the genetics, then you'll be as fast as you can be.
thats why we dont have dead heats in every race.
