PRABAL GURUNG Spring Summer 2012 ft Nicki Minaj | MODTV

This was one powerful fashion show. As Prabal explained to me backstage "It's sexy, tough, confident and at the same time sensual".

Prabal Gurung's collection is exploding with color and the show was inspired by Nobuyoshi Araki sensual flowers series which Prabal incorporated into all those gorgeous prints.

Makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury said Prabal wanted the women to feel powerful and intoxicating which is why she drenched the models lips in five layers of pink, "it's like a burst of a flower".
