The Mother Lode Levy Fossil Shell Discovery

Показать описание
Located in Fellsmere Florida is canal 54 which sits between the four quadrants of the Saint Sebastian River Preserve State Park. This canal was dug up years ago to make way for water. They dug down 25 to 40 feet below the surface and had millions of pounds of material to dispose of but lacked the funding to move it great distances. Instead of moving the material, they simply created mock levies on both sides of the canal. These levies are 25 feet high and are likely packed with more shells than can be counted. See for yourself.
