Warner Bros. already tried to make Velma gay, and people were pissed at that, not to mention the Velma series where Velma and Shaggy were race swapped. Not only was that a bad idea, but Velma in the show was EXTREMELY unlikable. Glad I watch the classic Scooby Doo series.
