In this episode, I will walk you through another TronXY X5S motherboard upgrade.
This time, we will upgrade our electronics with an SKR v1.3 & TMC2208 drivers.
The motherboard choice, was dictated by the low cost, the high computing power, and the simplicity of the "jumper configured" UART support.

In order to put the driver in UART working mode, you will have to weld J2. The pads connected, are *the two closest to the potentiometer* (or the three holes).
I have used two TMC2208 for X/Y and two A4988 for the parallel Z motors and my extruder (A4988 have less resolution but they can handle more peak Amps, and are immune to skipping steps, if configured correctly. Keep in mind that both Z and E0 are geared, therefore they already have, more than 400 steps per mm)
