Thank you for these amazing series about KZ, you both are so nice and respectful when reviewing our cities, and even that 24h train ride:) And I loved that you had those local fried pastries for the breakfast from a simple kiosk, tried food in a market, in canteens instead of going to fancy restaurants (where usually most of the tourists tend to go), so you have seen the local reality in an authentic way. Funfact. That palace of peace and reconiliation holds the summit of world religious leaders every few years(3 years if Im not mistaken). Islamic, Catholic, Orthodox christian, buddhist, Jewish and many other different leaders visit that summit. A couple of years ago on the last one the also Pope from Vatican visited that palace for the summit.

Thanks to global warning, looks like you guys were lucky to visit/see Astana city without any snow in April. Pyramid tour you had, appears stunning and even whole city looks quite beautiful to me.

В Казахстан вам надо было приехать в летнее время. Летом у нас красиво и удобно путешествовать, а не мёрзнуть вот так и чувствовать себя некомфортно. Летом везде зелень, в Алматы в горах - шикарный отдых, в Астане много мероприятий на общественных пространствах. Летом можно съездить в Боровое, Катон-Карагай, Баян аул. Алаколь, на Каспийское море, в Актау, в Туркестан. А так, вы побыли в двух городах в холодное время года. Совсем некомфортно для путешествия.

As you are in Astana advice you to visit Burabay land wich is not far from Astana and Bayan Aul it is national park. And very beautifull.
There are too many legends and love story that surround this place.
