Wow! Team AstralShift and VisuStella bringing one of the greastest RPGMaker games ever to a new and updated engine! I can tell already they are going to be pushing the limits of what RPGMaker MZ can do! It's so nostalgic to see our protagonist, our pumpkin friends and... maybe our not-so-friends! Let's all look forward to its release!

Woah! If I remember correctly the original Pocket Mirror was the playthrough that introduced me to this channel. And this is one of my favourite RPG maker games too.
I probably should have expected a remake, considering all of the other RPG maker remakes we've gotten recently but, nope! This completely caught me off guard.
Looking forward to the full release!

Pocket Mirror has always been my favorite rpg maker game! It’s beautiful in art, design, and story. The fact that it was inspired by IB and The Witch’s House makes it all the better! When I learned that there was a reboot by Astra Shift. I just burst into happiness! Rpg Maker games will always be the greatest games ever! I can’t wait to see the full game when it’s done!

I personally find the dialogue avatar's old artstyle better. In my opinion, the old artstyle doesn't have that many frills and cutesy stuff, and the clothes are not too puffy so it fits well as a horror game. And it got dynamic poses too.
The new artstyle looks like it's trying to imitate that old retro anime artstyle. And it looks a lot more like a fairytale than a horror game about a girl's mental state.

Of course, I love the new artstyle. But the old artstyle will always have the special place in my heart

Oh man, Pocket Mirror. I remember when this first came out years ago. This game was beautiful, but I always felt the game devs were too serious of keeping the gamers guessing of what the plot of this all was to the point of frustration. To see this is a remake, I hope they added a lot more lore and stuff, especially when I was hoping for a sequel about the Pumpkin King. So far, the art is way better, though I still thought the old art was gorgeous. I am going to be optimistic and see where this full game goes.

OMG I'm so happy and excited to see this game returning!
I remember seeing the first gameplay of the original Pocket Mirror and absolutely LOVED it. I even played it a bunch myself. It is truly one of the most incredible rpg games I have seen, everything about it was amazing. I can't wait to see how this turns out in the full release 😍
