Tesla CEO Elon Musk could soon be getting a $56 billion payday with company shareholders set to vote on his compensation package Thursday. The investors could also approve a move of Tesla's legal headquarters from Delaware to Texas. Alan Ohnsman, a senior editor for Forbes, joined CBS News to discuss the meeting.

Historical payday? No, he is given the right to purchase stocks at lower price and cannot sell after 5 years.

The disdain the media has for Tesla is so obvious

Oh and by the way, do your research CBS, it is not "just a car company". Don't just be talking heads without any knowledge.

US: No to Chinese cars!
Also US: Nu-uh Tesla, sit down!

TSLA sales up 76% in China right now, despite competitors price cuts. BYDs are unsafe and mostly hybrids.

Cybertruck is crushing it…these people should actually do research before opening their mouths. It’s embarrassing.

Moving the Company Headquarters from Delaware would underscore the fact that Judges don't contribute anything of value to the economy, and shouldn't possess authority to second-guess the shareholders and substitute their opinion for what the market (i.e.-shareholders, a/k/a OWNERS) thinks.

Elon needs $56B to recover from the $46B Twitter disaster

The cybertruck production is still ramping. Sheesh. These guys are clowns.

This is not payout like a cash payout. Elon buys the stock at a predetermined strike price. CBS needs to do better.
Also the Cybertruck is not failing. Do some research CBS.

"Compensation Restored" Exactly, this was originally approved. Judge caused the reneging of the deal. He still has to exercise his option to purchase, so "Tesla" still gets the cost of the option. The qualifications to earn the options were laughed at originally and yet he succeeded and cause stockholders to benefit drastically. Does the head of GM get paid on actual performance? NO, otherwise she would be rescinding her monstrous salary as her success is negative

Share holders have no choice but to give it a second chance. To me, there has no chance for Tesla unless the company is doing something outside EV.
There are better companies to invest instead of Tesla!
Just don't buy what Kathy Wood buys.

Tesla EV are boring and expensive. Rich people already owned one. The poor don't have money to buy and there are always more poor than rich people. The only way the company can be successful is if they can produce a vehicle that costs under $30k.

The massive sweeping anti musk propaganda is saying how fn afraid the established media is. They are terrified, because 60, 000, 000, 000 could buy of things, including parent companies of their networks 😂❤
