James: Kudos to you for your bravery and very candid disclosure about your dyslexia and life struggles. Good for you. I have been there myself and was tested for ADD (passive) as an adult. When I was growing up there was no diagnosis for ADD / ADHD and the common statement from teachers: "If she would only apply herself." Apply herself? I was working 5 times harder than everyone else with barely minimal results. When the clinician gave me the testing results and said it was ADD - Passive -- I sobbed uncontrollably because finally, there was an explanation ! Wishing you the very best !
