Fimi X8SE 2020 long range flight test

That is impressive considering it is further than the stated 8km range, and the topography was not ideal for a long range flight

What I found strange is that there is a (quick) "Low battery" warning at 2:47. I thought that the voice functionality was disabled in a previous firmware update in the first version of the Fimi X8SE. @Shape the future Tech, does this mean the voice messages are back in the 2020 version?

Quite impressive! I have heard that you can't set a waypoint beyond 1000m, is this true? If so, that's a big deal breaker for this drone. You should be able to set at least a 3km waypoint from you to where you want the drone to fly. Have you done long distance waypoints? Thanks for the video!

On the rcgroups Fimi X8 owners thread we are debating if this is real or fake 2020 video. To me it looks like you received a pre-production test model. You could upload a basic video proving you have in fact a new 2020 model. Maybe show onscreen firmware versions? Just a suggestion, you could clarify things to a lot of people ;) In any way, wish you many happy flights!

Mine doesn't get anywhere near that. My signal starts fluctuating at 1km

How did you get it that far without the battery dying? Mine died after 6 kilometers. Thank God I got it back

If this isnt the drone footage off the sd card superimposed then ill be very impressed as the broadcast footage is showing good quality and frame rate from that distance which im not sure many drones can come close to that.

Excellent video -- looks like Fimi has the auto return set to bring the drone back home with 20% battery or just under, not including the landing phase.

My Fimi X8 is one of the first ones from Fimi which I received on 5 Feb 2019. Its a good drone but the FPV video was not really good of the previous version of the Fimi X8.
The FPV video is really impressive on this new version of the X8.

Does this drone switch frequencies to maintain video connection, also this operates at 5ghz right not 2.4?
