These useless over-the-top TikTok shopping hauls just keep popping up everywhere, and it’s really starting to boil my blood. Like, literally every time you scroll, it's another useless ‘must-have’ you’re ‘supposed’ to get—and surprise, surprise, it’s all leading to someone's Amazon storefront. I mean, where do we even start with how staged these restocks are? It’s so obvious they’re just for show, and don't even get me started on the constant message: that you need all this stuff to be happy or, I don’t know, ‘aesthetic.’
I swear, it’s gotten to this weird level where buying and hoarding have become some kind of twisted badge of honor. It’s like we’re taught to treat shopping like a sport, going for all the unnecessary, disposable junk just for the ‘Gram. As if we don’t know it’s bad for the planet, wrecking people’s finances, and honestly, it’s not doing any favors for our mental health. If influencers have succeeded in one area, it has to be playing characters, pushing this fake lifestyle that’s so far from reality.

1000 bucks for themed bath and 400 for themed ice is just madness to me. The amount of things you can do with $1400. Even if I set aside basic necessities like groceries and bills and say, I want to use this $1400 exclusively to pamper myself - I can spend it on a weekend vacation, equipment and/or classes for a hobby I always wanted to try, a nice day at the spa, a fancy meal at a Michelin restaurant, a fun concert, etc etc. There are a million better, more fun and more memorable experiences to throw that money at, instead of wasting it on _bath scents and ice cubes???_ 💀

the mcdonald’s filling on that ring-shaped container on a stanley cup is overall disgusting, and who even puts fries or a burger on a TINY HOLE? do they not realize that the burger and fries could easily fall if you hold the stanley cup with the container? this behavior is so inane.
