Maybe a stupid question. I have bought this mic for singing and I am recording over backing tracks…I can’t hear myself and the backing tracks through the mic? Is this correct? Am I only meant to be able to hear the backing track? I thought using a mic I should be able to hear myself too?

Hi! I would love to get this microphone for my birthday. But I would use it for making covers on my yt channel. But if you have your headphones in the microphone, how can you hear the background music (instumental music) for the timing for a cover?

One question though, if i put it about 30 sm away, it will capture the sound with normal loudness?
