2025 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray review! In this video, I'll talk about what the C8 Corvette is, how I feel about the interior space, and what it's like to drive it!
Looking at the line up of the C8 Corvette, we can distinguish 4 models: the entry level Stingray that we have today, hybrid E-Ray, performance oriented Z06 and the most hardcore, thousand horsepower ZR1.
The C8 is obviously built on a dedicated mid-engine platform and and features double wishbone suspension front suspension and back, combined with mono tube shocks standard, and magnetic ride dampers are optional, and once we move up the trims and models, we’ll find more modifications to the suspension.
All models are powered by V8 engines, however, they are all different. The entry-level Stingray - it gets a naturally aspirated, 6.2L LT2 that delivers 490 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque.
Next up, the hybrid E-Ray - it also uses the same engine, but gets a 160-hp electric motor mounted on the front axle giving you a total of 655 horses.
The Z06 gets a flat plane 5.5L, which makes 670 hp, and the ZR1 has a two turbocharged version of that motor, producing whooping 1,064 hp.
An 8-speed dual clutch Tremec transmission is your only option, and all Vettes, besides the E-Ray, are rear wheel drive.
