I partly grew up about 20 or so miles away from Stennis Space Center, I remember back in the 60s and 70s, our class would go on field trips to the site, and sometimes you could feel the ground shake while testing... presumably Saturn 5 and other engines.

I was 15 miles away and could not only hear the loud sumbitch but I could see the cloud of steam lol

I'm guessing the steaks are well done.

NASA's evil masterminds have decided that today will be cloudy.

Nice touch how they rotate the four engines to test the gimbles during the firing.

At 4:20 if you look closely you can see it raining in the background from the test

Love to see the construction of the structure that holds all that energy down.

There's some birds in those trees thinking 'Rather misty all of a sudden!'

So very proud of the crew that has built this rocket. I cannot wait to see it launch!

It's a shame these engines are going to only be used once.

Amazing that you can see the rain curtain the vapor plume generates

i love the orange external tank on the top providing the fuel, makes me think about the space shuttles

They must use one hefty ass seatbelt to hold that thing to the ground. I think I felt the earth move a couple inches out of its original orbit.

I love starship but those engines look way sexier and a lot more controlled

I’d be interested to know how much fuel it burned and at what rate?

Edit: Okay, so on Space.com site, it says they used 700, 000 gallons (2.6 million liters) of cryogenic fuel.
