Art, tech, science, and community live under one roof with the 2024 Michigan Central X Newlab Art + Technology Artists in Residence program. Partnering with Newlab, this unique opportunity gives emerging artists studio space, training, professional development, and a $30,000 stipend to push the boundaries of their own practices.

Funded in part by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, the Artists in Residence program offers a deep dive into every aspect of new tech to create groundbreaking work through collaboration, inspiration, and innovation—both in the studio and beyond.
