A year ago I had to go to a customised topper. I use 'just for men' original, 5 minutes in the shower - medium brown. Works great. Saves having to get fake grey % toppers. Shave all your hair grade 2. Use the side of your hand as a perimeter to shave the top in a U shape. You don't need any technology. You can do it by feeling and once done it's just maintaining. I take photos as I go but it's easy.

You should use a detangler brush also.

Can also do Hair fiber or the hair powder on the back of head spot if you want

Use a brain foil shaver!! Makes it a breeze to shave and also not as abrasive as a blade on scalp. It's definitely worth it! BIG TIME.

do a full top instead of only a section. I think it will work for you alot better

I don't think you need a full topper just yet. Your crown is thinning a little bit but if you grow your hair out it wont really be noticeable. If you switch to a full topper you'll need to goto a salon and doing the maintenance and servicing on your own will be more tricky than a partial. I appreciate you don't want the grey hair on the sides to be noticeable so you shave it, but I wouldn't shave the top of your head - that way you can continue with the partial pieces. How your partial looked in your video two bad pieces and a good one (the 3rd one) looked great. At that time you hadn't shaved your head all over so short and everything blended so well. Right now it's a bit pineapple like when you give your own hair a buzz cut.
