Great video! I would have flush the line before placing your nozzle on; that’s why they have the flush nozzle. I’ll have to look into that telescopic piece; definitely a time saver!

I used one of those telescoping couplers at an "L" shaped intersection. When I turned on the water the coupler extended and it retracted when I turned off the water. I had to cut out the telescoping coupler and use straight pipe. Great video!

Learning about sprinklers cause my system and lawn is really messed up! Another video showed putting clamps over funny pipe where it gets screwed in to further secure the connection. Does your funny pipe not need clamps?

I want to do something similar. I want to cut the pvc line and place the sprinkler head there vs using the hose to extend it elsewhere. Can I cut the pvc and just use the fitting and place the sprinkler head on the fitting vs using a telescope with a fitting?

I need to add a whole row of sprinklers in my back yard. The middle doesn't get any water. Would adding a whole row of 5 or so sprinklers affect the water pressure to the rest of the sprinklers? Or would it level itself off and be the same pressure it has now? Thanks in advance!!

You should have used a "snap tee" that was less work and less cost. You just clean the pipe and glue "snap tee" to outside. Drill a hole thru the "snap tee" thread (usually 1/2 npt or 3/4 npt hole) and original pipe and screw in your barb. I use these to also fix a cracked PVC pipe and just apply it like a band aid with PVC cement to both pieces without any hole.

What is the purpose of using telescope pipe? And why can you use straight pvc with a T ?

Why use funny pipe and not pvc if your going in a straight line?

Did you know there is a PVC SNAP FITTING that you could have inserted, glued, and hole drilled on top of that PVC piping that you cut in lieu of cutting that existing pipe?
