CompBioMed Virtual Humans Film

The power of supercomputers is revealed in this film. Rendered on MareNostrum supercomputer at Barcelona Supercomputing Center, it shows how scientists can map and plan treatments in our bodies to determine the best outcome for us. How long will it be before we could all have our own Virtual Human?

It is super cool to simulate not only the surface texture of human body but also the functional mechanisms inside. Our team Applied Ergonomics and Design section in Industrial Design Engineering Faculty is also working on it, but more on body size and surface structure.
