I really don't get why the rebound tool is needed. Soon as tension between the rod and the cap break the 50mm turns at the same time as the rebound adjuster. I don't understand how it would be worse to undo the cap and rod using the 50mm wrench

My bike doesn’t have the preload adjuster. I’m looking to just replace the fork cap. Do I only need the fork cap wrench and a 24mm wrench?

Hello Rocky Mountain. I only use 50mm wrench and now my rebound and compression adjuster don't stop. It turns every time and don't stop. It's possible damage right? Any chance to fix? Best regards
