FAANG stocks are the thing of investor dreams. The five tech stocks have produced an annualized return of 37% over the last decade, that’s 23-times your money and five-times higher than the return on the stock market! It’s the kind of thing that can make you a millionaire in less than 10 years.

But the opportunity is gone in the FAANG stocks; Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix and Google. For these tech companies to produce that same return, they would have to grow to many times the size of the global economy. It just isn’t going to happen.

That’s why you need to be on the lookout for the next FANG stock, then next disruptive tech stock that is going to change the world. In this video, I’ll show you the sectors and industries to watch for the next best investments. I’ll then help you narrow down your FAANG stock list and get you started with seven stocks to buy right now.

We’ll be looking at stocks in the Technology and Communication Services sectors. Of course, there will be hot stocks in other sectors but these two offer the best upside in terms of growth over the next 10 years. It’s in these two sectors that companies are changing the world and making lots of money doing it.

We’ll narrow our list of stocks to buy to a few industries within these sectors; DNA sequencing, AI and robotics, healthcare IT and the Internet of Things (IoT). It’s in these industries specifically that we are seeing the most disruption and potential for runaway investments.

Now that you know where to find the next FAANG stock, you need to know HOW to find it. I like to start by narrowing my list to small cap companies or at least those with a market cap under $10 billion. It used to be you could find these top tech stocks in the small caps with a company size under a few billion but companies are coming to market so much later these days and most already have billions in revenue by the time they issue shares.

I’m also looking for disruptive technologies, companies that are changing the way the world works in these industries. I’m looking for tech stocks that have a competitive advantage and sell into the consumer side of the market. There are B2B companies that will do well, especially in the tech sector, but just the size of the consumer market gives these companies an advantage.

Understand that investing in the next FAANG stocks isn’t without risk. These are smaller companies and in industries that are changing on a daily basis. Companies that cannot adapt and create an advantage will die and could destroy your investment. These hot tech stocks also come at a high price, some of the highest PE ratios in the market. If earnings don’t keep up with other growth stocks, the share price could drop fast.

That’s the risk you take with FANG and other high growth stocks. Limiting this risk means investing in a group of stocks so you still make lots of money even if only one or two become the next best stock of the decade.

Meanwhile I’m kicking myself for selling TSLA in early 2020 when it was at 800...I only did it because I had some major expenses to pay, I figured a correction would come soon, and it did—COVID, but before I could buy back in, it skyrocketed to where it is now. Do you think TSLA is a bubble, will come back down significantly; a stock on the same level as these new FANGS; or more like a regular FANG?
