I love how active Peach is here similar to the comics and other games. She isn't just a damsel, she's a leader trying to protect her kingdom.

Plot feels very similar to the lego movie. A hero played by Chris Pratt goes into a new world where he has to save different kingdoms, but he isn't quit the hero yet so he gets help from a tough girlfriend. And Charlie Day shows up somewhere.

In the Mario games, Peach is usually the one being saved by Mario. But in the trailer, Mario is being saved by peach. (Even though Mario will probably save her later)

Man, they are really packing as much as they can in this movie, like the Kongs, Brooklyn, the various quirks of the Mushroom Kingdom, Yoshis, hints at Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart... It's like, go big or go home with all this!

Seeing all the power ups, the level designs which I’m guessing are training for him in this maybe ? Donkey Kong and Cranky Kong are here hopefully Diddy, and the field of Yoshi’s ahhh I’m actually excited for this one

Too bad the official trailer turned off comments because this one looks a lot better than the first trailer. It’s still kind of vague but at least Chris Pratt is doing more of a Mario voice. I’m hype

I just wish Peach sounded more like Peach, it feels like they tried to give her a cooler voice so people take her more seriously, but I think that giving her a higher pitched voice would’ve been cute :(
