Thanks for the video! The command on the AutoRemote website is not Is, but ls with a lowercase "L" :D that's why it wasn't working ;) Thanks again! Hopefully this video can help people with the same issue :)

Is this using SSH? Also... what are the advantages and disadvantages of using autoremote for this? Is it quick and relyable?

just interested in sending direct messages from rpi to android. was trying the info there with curl, and no reaction on tasker...would be cool to have a working example for that with mashmallows

Hi! Once again following yours great tutorials! Now I have another issue and hope you can help me, I'm now and thanks to you, being able to connect my RPi with my android device without any problem but ONLY if they are connected to the same network. But when they are connected to different networks the communication Android --> RPi3 fails, the message is never sent. But in the other way RPi3 (using curl) -->Android it works. So I think it could be something related to the ports (port fowarding), even when i read that GCM doesn't need to port fowarding I already do it to my RPi3 (ports 5228 to 5230) but nothing happens.
So, did you have a similar problem? Can you please help me? Thanks in advance
