The most significant drawback to any old ballpark is the poles. Fenway Park is the same way and it's inherent in all old stadium construction. In newer parks like Camden Yards or Nationals Park the extra concourse space behind the seating area also allows the upper decks to be cantilevered to eliminate the poles. But in Fenway and Wrigley the poles are necessary to hold up the roof and they can block your view if you get seated right behind one.
