Meanwhile, in Israel:

Frankly, I think the medical-scientific community having been politicized has burned so much goodwill during this pandemic that by now nobody really believes anything they say. I'm a trained researcher and I hate to say that I have trouble finding out the what's what. Most studies are either inconclusive or contain serious methodological errors that render them borderline useless. Not to mention that the media reporting is also innane and often biased on this topic.

Higher risk of infection for the vaccinated, because they have more freedom? Then what’s point of the getting vaccine 😭.

I'm double vaxxed, many of my co-workers are tripple vaxxed, my extended family is unvaxed and all got omicron and all had a similar experience. Seems like a mild disease with an obsolete vaccine in my experience.

My wife is triple jabbed, I'm not vaccinated. We both tested positive recently. The symptoms were the same for both of us.

Oh good grief. If someone shares on social media that their experience with Omicron was mild, how is that misleading? It’s the truth. Why is it that only those who have had bad experiences are able to tell their stories?

For the record, I am totally unvaccinated and for me Omicron was mostly body aches and fatigue. I did also have a sore throat for a couple of days and a noticeable reduction in smell for about 24 hours. That is what it was like for me, do with it what you will.

Well it follows the epidemic pattern. It grows milder but more infectious. It will keep getting milder here on.

Nobody knows nothing, they all just assume and believe, but not stating facts.

The thing they r doing in this video is called "making an argument". Calling it fact check is just a tactic to make themselves appear to be more legitimate and authoritative.

The thing that they were arguing werent statement of truth at all. Every single strawman statement they were arguing against was a subjective view of the pandemic. They werent "checking" any factual statement at all. All they did was saying "this subjective" perspective is wrong.

This should be counted as an example of abusing the word "fact check"

I’m surprised by the low quality of this video.. I’m totally pro-vaccination, but you fail to explain any good reason on any of your assertions.. the mrna vaccine were based on previous sars-cov2 variants “and then there is the booster”.. and? what? it’s the same so why is it important or different? .. also all the demographics of why we should not use south africa data to compare it with other countries.. fine, then, let’s compare south african data with south african data of previous waves.. also, they have 80% vavcinated .. like us here in Italy and in many other countries.. what’s the point of this video?

The factcheck is misleading too :( Omicron is less virulent/ less deadly. That is a known fact. It doesn't mean it is harmless but there is a huge difference in death and hospitalizations rate between Omicron, original and delta variants. As of danish study it may not take into account fact that larger portion of unvaccinated group might have acquired natural immunity during previous delta wave. That can put unvaccinated group in a better position. If possible they should have compared vaccinated vs unvaccinated and no previous infection. Look up CDC stusy on matiral immunity. They show that natural immunity is on par and sonewhat superior to vaccine induced immunity.
