Its even scarier when you realize those *aren't* the voices of the animatronics. That sound isn't even coming from the robots themselves. That's literally just the voices of dead children in constant, horrible pain..

this is called the death rattle, its the sound of the final breath leaving their lungs, making a rattling sound, its very sad to hear and holds alot of weight knowing that was the last sound the person ever made

I've heard these sounds more than once before, but this is the first time hearing them completely isolated, at this volume, with nothing else to focus on, and suddenly NOW do I realize how utterly _terrifying_ they are.

How Matt Pat describes it in his first game theory on FNAF it’s perfect. It sounds like someone inside of a suit clinging to life crying for help but they can’t speak.

I wish more people experienced the absolute dread of hearing this in game. I can’t even explain the emotion I felt when listening to these breathing down your spine.

I knew that when the toggle sounds begin, they’re already in the room...so I had an idea to just stay in the cameras so they don’t jumpscare me. That was until these blood curdling moans began. I sat through 15 seconds of these pleads full of rasp and air. It was surreal and the thoughts that plagued my mind were _what the fuck???_
Alas, I couldn’t hide forever. After a deafening silence, Chica jumped me and I had to stop playing for like months.

I think the reason why fnaf 1 had the biggest horror impact was because it knew the scary part wasn’t the robots, it was the dead children inside the robots that made it so horrific
