Pachamamita (Yopi cover)

Показать описание
I share this song to express my deep love and appreciation for our Mother Gaia, Mother Earth, Pachamama. She who carries us upon her, she who unconditionally offers us all that we need, an abundance of resources and beauty. She who receives all that no longer serves us (including our physical body when our spirit passes over to the other side) and makes something new out of it all. We are part of her, we are one.
So many of us have forgotten that she is sacred, that she is life, that we are her children. We have forgotten to honor her, praise her and love her. We have become disconnected from her and suffer from this wound of separation. This separation is the cause of so much pain and can be seen in the state of the environment and the state of health of humanity.
May we learn to reconnect with our Mother Earth, with ourselves and in this way gradually heal, returning to a state of greater balance and harmony, well-being, joy and peace.
One of my teachers (Charles Lawrence) shared a story of a Siberian shaman who said that we should never look at the devastation of the planet and speak about it disgracefully or from a place of pity or say how terrible she (Mother Earth) looks. She is a living being and can sense what we say and think about her. Just as we should speak to our fellow humans with encouragement and praise we should also speak to her lovingly – remembering to recognize and praise her beauty and power.
I share this song to help us connect with our Pachamama, to acknowledge the great mystery and beauty of life and creation and to give praise to this amazing expression of the divine feminine. May we celebrate life and Mother Gaia by cultivating appreciation for this magical creation that we are part of, and in this way, may we contribute to the healing of ourselves and our planet.
Being outside, breathing the fresh air, standing on the ground with our bare feet, hugging a tree, putting our cheek against the ground, listening to the wind. This is the medicine of Pachamama. Grounding like this balances our energies, calms our mind and body and boosts our overall well-being and health. These practices can support us during these times.
