Portal knights is a gem. My GF and I spend so much time playing split screen portal knights. We tried that overcooked 1&2 and hated it. I’ve always felt there was a shortage of proper co op titles and subsequently YTers glad to find ya

I can say with some pride that it was Portal Knights II that lead to my kids learning to actually cooperate instead of bashing each other over the head with the controller when things weren't working out :)

Ark was terrible due to the UI and text size is not good for split screen. If they could be adjusted and made larger, it would help make the game more enjoyable.

ARK is so laggy on local coop when one person goes into their menu. It makes the game unplayable for me. Has this been improved?

The only downside of ark. Is you must stay close to a host player. And if the host player gets into an other section. The other player gets pulled of the dino in the derection of the host player. A lot of time the second player gets pulled of the bird and falls to its dead

Absolutely agree with your last picks! Divinity 2 specially, I've been playing it for over a year and more with my partner and we haven't finished it, 130 hours in and I think we're just about halfway, mostly because we explore everything though.

There is a clear lack of couch co-op games which is a bummer, seeing how Gears of War demonstrated just how much fun you can have punching a friend on the shoulder!
