Interesting Lawrence!, good work!, I have a cover with the same red cachet, but a different DDR postmark stating the same. The German case is emblematic since it lasted 40 years, until the fall of Berlin Wall, but there are similar cases in other countries too, all very interesting. Last year I gave 2 conferences about the German Postkrieg on another Youtube channell. I have a small collection about this, but planning to make it grow. The catalogue you showed and 2 others by Wolfgang Elsner are very recommended for anyone who wants to study more on this.

It's the first time I heard about Postkrieg, thanks for the information. I have been to Berlin and Bonn and knew a little bit of history about divided Germany. Always excited that post has witnessed history.
