I watched many videos from Carnival over the last few days. This is by far the best one. You did a super job of capturing the real costumes and great atmosphere. Was really impressed by your composition. I went to carnival around 3 or 4 times when I lived in Europe. I took hundreds of photos. Loved Venice, the city was a real favorite. On Monday Basel Fastnacht will begin, you should make it there one year. They couldn't be more different, but neither should be missed.

I read that the Carnival of Venice was revived just 45 years ago after it was banned in 1797 by the Holy Roman Emperor. It must have been surreal in the middle ages as it is now!
