I remember sitting in the theater watching Ant Man 2 and enjoying it. It was about six months after Infinity War and there was another six months before Endgame. Antman 2 had, like I said, an enjoyable movie.
And then this happened.
It was a reminder of The Snap, the dusting and the Avengers defeat.
The theater was so quiet you could hear a pin drop

the second post credits scene is really what sells how utterly terrifying the snap would be in real life.

This was such an awesome moment. At the start of the movie I was trying to figure out where this one fit into the timeline and when the snap was going to happen. By the end, I'd completely forgotten about the snap... and then this!

I saw this movie with my dad in July 2018, we’re both big MCU fans and couldn’t wait for this movie considering Infinity War had come out a few months prior. I’ll never forget my dad gasping and almost screaming at 1:55

I know most chronology lists place this movie before Avengers: Infinity War, but...

It's actually because of these 2 scenes that I watch this movie right after Avengers: Infinity War, but right before Avengers: Endgame whenever I do my own MCU marathons (either all movies or only ones involving specific characters).

Scott Lang was only gone for 5 hours (Quantum Realm time) but was gone for 5 years Earth time, just like those affected by the snap, so his name was carved into 1 of the stones at the monument like they all were.

I wonder if that whole monument was torn down when all the blipped were brought back to life or if they just kept it up to remember who exactly was affected & gone for 5 years.

Never gave much of a thought to the emergency message. That shit sells the horror of the moment surprisingly effectively.

Imagine if this is really happening in real life while you’re working or walking in the streets everyone is disappearing and It would be terrifying while you’re seeing your love ones turned into dust.

Doesn’t justify going back in if Janet is so afraid of the Quantum realm from narrowly escaping Kang in the latest movie. She doesn’t even want to help them or talk about it in Quantumania
