What I love about this scene is how it shows what makes Scott Lang unique in the MCU, and that's the fact that he's just a normal guy. Where other heroes would take advantage of their house arrest by training or improving on their skills/tech., we see Scott do normal stuff like practice sick trick shots, play guitar hero and cry himself to sleep while reading "The Fault of Our Stars". Even later in the movie, we get a scene where his daughter calls about not being able to find her soccer shoes while Scott and the gang are being held captured by the villains. Which is not a problem no other superhero goes through in the MCU. It's a part of his character that I love, especially since you don't get that many heroes who are practically a small fish in a very, very, very, VERY big pond.

I feel like they didn't even give him a script for this scene. They just showed up at Paul Rudd's house and were like, "we're going to film you for a few hours and make a montage" and Paul's response was *takes off head phones and stops drumming* "Huh? Oh hey guys come on in!"

I know that people in the comments are making fun of this movie by comparing it to what was going on in Infinity War, but honestly this movie was needed for me because I would want to have a much lighter-toned MCU movie after such a cinematic, epic tragedy like Infinity War.

I was having a bad day due to exams and assignment deadlines (usual stressful end of semester highschool stuffs) when Ant-Man and the Wasp came out, when i watched it & saw Paul Rudd singing karaoke, it made me a little bit happier for a moment. Thank you Marvel!
