This was such a great tip! Thank you. It was a gorgeous day for an afternoon ride on the ferry. We went from Pier 11 at Wall Street all the way up to Throg’s Neck as you suggested. That took about an hour. Then we got off and got right back on to come back halfway and got off at the 90 Street Pier stop. I was glad there was a very helpful staffer at the Pier 11 ticket machine who helped us know we just needed 4 tickets for the 2 of us to go both directions. So we spent a total $16 to have a beautiful tour of the East River. Really great views. So relaxing!!

In NYC right now, took it yesterday to Roosevelt Island. Today took the tram back to Manhattan. Only thing I didn't like was the ferry running behind schedule. Took it from 34th.
