please, before you dismiss Schultz mission to run in 2020 do some research. He has a very unique past and could really help this country. And who knows he might split the vote of both parties.

Based on this guys answers I will vote NO> I love it when rich people want to bring cheap labor to compete against me since they don't want to pay a fair wage they want to bring more cheap labor to keep thier 10 coffee drinks. If he really wants to be fair why doesn't he pay his employees 45, 000 a year. Thats a living wage in most states instead of 12.00. Hypocrite.

His salary as CEO of Starbucks was over 600 times the average Starbucks employee. That's not fair and equitable. I do like his ideas. "Every American deserves to have access to quality health care." "I would have significantly addressed the people who need tax relief the most who don't have $400 in the bank." I can't help liking this guy.

Does this guy actually think that reducing manmade CO2 by a few ppm is going to make everything perfect re climate and levels of rainfall, sleet, snow, freeze, heat, cold, wind, hurricanes, tornadoes, drought, etc.?

Sounds like a balanced guy. All the people butthurt about his healthcare statement have apparently never had to pay money to overhaul an entire system.

What EVERYONE doesn't realize (other than Schultz and co. - who just won't say so); is that if in the general, in a 3-way, after Schultz wins over a whole bunch of centrist independents and rational 'republicans' nauseated by (or scared of) trump for another 4 years; Schultz sees the option that at that point if he realizes/accepts (and he is smart enough to do so) that he can't win the general; he knows that by him THEN dropping out and supporting the 'democrat' in the end will in turn actually end up WINNING votes for whoever the democrat candidate is (hopefully Bernie Sanders). Although he won't agree with many of the final democrat contender's ideas on a lot of things, and will have had by that time much opportunity to say all those things loudly, and in turn win over lots of more right-leaning centrists etc...that him then dropping out and making the strong case with clear distinctions between the democrat contender and orangeman (and the obvious choice there), will actually NOT help re-elect trump - but it will actually help in the opposite direction. All the commas and run-on sentences aside, this isn't chess folks. He's not my choice with a lot of issues, but he's smart and he's decent. Let him go at it. PS....this will also help a bit in opening up the future chances of something this country obviously needs (and the media would hate), a legitimate 3-party system.

I’ll only vote for Howard if he’s the democrat nominee, not an independent that’ll split the democrat vote.

Every American should have "access" to health insurance...spoken like a politician. What does that mean??? I have access to a nicer home, a bigger car, better vacations, ....BUT I CAN'T AFFORD THEM! Eery American should have subsidized health insurance, paid for with tax money going to that instead of to an already grotesquely large military...not "access" to it!

Quit calling Democrats the left. We are the American people who are concerned about how the 1% is treating the rest of the country and you are 1 of them who is running because the republican party has gone off of the rails. You are only running to take independent votes away from Democratic Candidates who will represent the will of the people instead of the 1%. Americans, do not let candidates like this keep us from achieving a central goal and that is to remove Donald Trump from office. He only cares about his base NRA, gun lobby, and Russians. Stand up to tyranny and don't waste your vote on another billionaire. He does not care one iota about the American people. He only cares about paying less income tax which is way lower than the 99%'s taxes and we don't get all of his exemptions. The last republican administration voted for the largest tax break in American history for the 1%. They sold their soles to the devil.(money). They will always be that way. Howard Schultz is and will only be a republican. Don't waste your vote unless you want the same old crap from the same old white men with the same song but a different verse.
