Been with my wife for about 8 years now. I'm 29. We both make really good money. We own multiple properties. Can really do whatever we want and have no kids. You kind of just run out of stuff to do. Eventually, I think most people in this situation realize having kids is probably one of the most important things that you can do in your life.

I think as a relationship matures and people grow up they'll come around and realize the importance of actually having a family.

If you live your whole life centered around yourself, it loses meaning a bit I think. We are going to have kids in the near future

I just hate how EVERYTHING becomes a "thing" for people. I guess we all want to feel a little special.

I know many married couples with children who do all of the activities these people pretend like they’re special for doing. They are bragging about nothing.

My wife and I are dinks. My father left me at 11, died 7 years ago and was gone for 26 years. My wifes mom passed away in a shootout with police when she was 5. We both still have trauma, not everyone needs to know our business but we are happy without kids. Almost 20 years married now.

They look so happy, for now. We've been striving to get to where Matt is. 3 kids, single income, and money get really tight sometimes. But we would never give up having kids or being able to homeschool them.

Not sure why the DINKS insist on dehumanizing children so much. It’s really weird. My boys are awesome, we go on adventures, play, laugh, explore and live life together as a family. I am not left wishing I was still single on a European vacation.

I think DINKs are fine. Problem is, most people are kidding themselves. No pun intended. They make these excuses to pretend that they aren't miserable. I wouldn't be surprised if most of them end up divorced
