I know Fauna sees herself as more of a big sister type, and I can see where she's coming from sort of, but overall she's just so caring and sweet and soft and... just motherly! And her tendency to embrace the cringe also makes her dorkier jokes come off as the "cool mom" who is actually interested in what her kid(s) are into in a way that isn't overbearing. Hell, even her yandere version comes off as very warm and fluffy. Hypothetically, if I were her child, I was misbehaving, and she said something like "I'm disappointed in you" that would be all it took to get me back in gear. Fauna's got the kind of mom vibe where you'd want her to be proud of you.
