what a great duo they were, Rhaenys had daemon's mother's dragon and he had her father's dragon. Both held the best dragons during the dance of the dragons, one is fastest and most fierce and the other is strong and everything perfect. If Rhaenys agreed with daemon and fled to kill vhagar both would be alive by the end

It worked out perfectly. Meleys and Rhaenys had a beautiful bond. Daemon and Caraxes were so close that I don’t think Daemon even said “dracarys” Caraxes just knew

Daemon was 6 years old when 13 years old Rhaenys claimed Meleys in 87 AC two years after daemon had lost his mother whom was the rider of Meleys and 1 year since the death of his brother Aegon.

Daemon claim Caraxes many years after his uncle Aemon died in 105 AC when his own father died and Viserys needed his support to go against Rhaenys claim to the throne and later Leanor’s.

I love how they do not acknowledge canon timeline and pull facts out of their arses just to ridicule daemon.

I think it's simply a matter of the time Daemon spent with Caraxes. Daemon was likely a lonely and forgotten second son, he would have spent so much time with Caraxes bonding, especially he was rejected by meleys (his own mother's dragon)

A lot of the Targaryens treat their dragons like horses, stabling them away until needed, ignoring them as they got older. Caraxes would have been Daemons only friend for much of his life.

Idk why they made Rhaenys and Daemon disagree so much. The reality is, their opinions aligned more than not. It’s was actually Rhaenys that stated Vhager needed to be slain, the dialogue in this scene made her look foolish.

Rhaenys was the true doom of the blacks. She has ample opportunities to destroy the strength of the greens and each time, she refuses Daemon's suggestions. Caraxes and Maeleys would have trapped Vhagar and killed her off without ANY CASUALTIES..

Caraxes had actually seen combat prior to Daemon when Prince Aemon was his first rider. As far as I am aware Meleys didn't see any combat at all until DOTD and even then was just used to patrol the sea lanes until Rook's Rest. Rhaenys hadn't seen any combat prior to RR either apart from sinking some ships maybe.

I feel like Daemon and Rhaenys teaming up with their dragons would’ve been such a badass pairing. What a team they’ve made. My only concern is: the response team green would’ve had. Daemon and Rhaenys go and kill Aemond and Vhagar, and Aemond and Helaena come to get justice. And I only say Helaena bc of how the show threw subtle hints at them as a couple in the show.

SPICYNOODLEBOI was a better fit for daemon anyway. Meleys meshed perfectly with Rhaenys. All dragons tbh mirror their riders nearly perfectly. Vhagar’s relationship with Laena was kind of an anomaly. Maybe that old dragon just wanted someone who was loving for a change to bond with instead of someone who just wanted to use her as a nuclear weapon.

I really hate how they all basically disregarded daemon but he wasnt always wrong. If they had went out in two or threes they could have killed the other dragons and riders but they wanted to keep going out alone .. it was not good strategy
