I like the mechanical explosive bow because it deals alot of damage AND because of its ability u can 1 shot people in the head with it.

Controversial Opinion but my order would go
4. Flame bow (though it's extremely useful and the part about needed to hit the builds to start fire is true. I think of that more as a entry starter to get some damage and disrupt. Don't use that bow to try to get kills)
3. Shockwave Bow (now this is the most controversial part because the Shockwave bow not only does 2nd most damage I'm pretty sure but it can be used for mobility and is 30+ impulse grenades in one, but unlike all the other bows this one only has a passive AOE effect that could even make your situation worse if your arrow is bad enough. Someone shot at me earlier in a game and he launched me at himself and I head shotted him with my purple pump. But don't get me wrong still really good)
2. Stink Bow (AOE has good range, you can hit either the player or his builds and it works, People are slow to respond so more often than not you usually get atleast 15-20 dmg before they realize [which can kill sometimes if they're low enough] and it applies constant pressure. All around a super good tool for disruption, damage, and getting kills)
1. Explosive Bow (along with being the only bow to have a legendary, this bow [and weapon for that fact] is also the only one that with a head shot plus the additional AOE damage can actually One shot an opponent from long range at full health making this a snipers dream as aside from this i believe the only way to headshot kill someone at full health is a Pump and that's close af. This bow is super scary to go against as the AOE damage hits for 3 counts making people more hesitant to peek on you. Now unfortunately this also happens to have the smallest range in terms of AOE damage but if you manage to hit all or even two of the 3 hits that's literally 40 hp [almost half of someone's health bar] and manage to hit a head shot with two AOE hits. Well my friend, you just got a complete kill that no one can survive. It's the closest thing you have to a sniper and as someone that loved head shotting with snipers, I can see all to much potential in this weapon in terms of its damage and pressure.)

My picks for most versatile however go as follows
4. Explosive Bow
3. Stink Bow
2. Flame Bow
1. Shockwave Bow

My favorite is the explosive bow. When I used it in arena people were peaking and I got a few head shots and finished it off with the explosions at the end. It is OP.

Gold Explosive Bows do 188 if hit in the head.

Primal flame bow is just the easiest to make so it has the least damage but the fire is pretty good being that most people build with wood unless building a one by one

Honestly the explosive is the most well rounded causing splash damage everywhere and I could see my self rocking an explosive now with a pump instead of having an ar
