I pulled out my amazing cosmetics concealer and have been loving it for my dry skin. It acts like a corrector and concealer for me. They have a foundation I would love to try that has concealer in the lid.

Hi Lauren I have extremely dry skin with both rosacea and eczema, plus I'm 50 and the lack of oestrogen means I produce no sebum anymore - dry dry dry lol. I rotate between three complexion products - the Missha bb cream, the Lancome teint idole and the Mac F&B. The Missha is lightweight with a medium coverage, the Lancome is also medium but is so longwearing and the Mac is really glowy/hydrating. It depends on what I'm doing that day and how my skin is feeling, to determine which one I reach for tbh. If I'm super dry and won't be wearing a mask very much the F&B is amazing, the Missha is nice for something very lightweight but the lancome doesn't budge even with a mask. I do prep my skin really well and also use an spf every day under all three. I sometimes use a primer in the nose area for pores under the Missha, but the other two don't really need a primer for me. I found the born this way a bit drying, the smashbox halo/milani/IT cosmetics don't have a shade match for me and tarte is more difficult to get in the UK. I might try the Morphe tint if I can find a shade though. Best wishes.

An oldie but goodie, Cover Girl Outlast “cream”foundation. Super light feeling however it’s build able to a light medium coverage that blurs imperfections. Glides on with a brush or sponge but my personal preference is a brush when using this. I’ve tried so many liquid foundations but find them too much effort and too particular where with this, it’s fast easy and beautiful.

The IT foundation has become my new fav….and I LOVE my IT CC cream so much. That is saying a lot! I also love Shiseido.

I should get that Born This Way foundation. It is one of the few foundations I have actually finished and loved it. It’s hard to resist the allure of the new and recently hyped, but there are SO many that just don’t work as well as that one.

Loreal infallible freshwear! So good for dry skin. The Tarte born this way was too dry and heavy for me. So many people love it for dry skin, but I might be the Sahara dessert. 😅
