Microsoft Edge is not bad, ever used it? better than chrome in efficiency and also supports chrome extensions as well as edge add ons.

Microsoft Edge is A tier for me. heavy development, Microsoft is after Google and they are focused on capturing more users. If you restrict it enough, its better than most browser. It is at the same level of Brave to me. Zen browser does not have a long track record yet and still has bugs, it should be on C and if you feel generous put it on B. But Vivaldi and Brave are way better than Zen, at least for now.

I tried zen but some extensions didn’t work with it, probably because it’s too new. I think it’s probably the future of web browsers, it really makes be excited about, but I will retry in a couple months. And ladybird is probably the next future browser too in a couple years

My main browser is Brave -- just need tweaking to work perfectly. I use all other browsers (Arc, Opera, Firefox, Chrome, Tor, etc.) so I could login to multiple other accounts. I use Edge because -- employment.

using edge 3-4 years it was good, recently its update every 3 days and deletes my tab groups, no settings or recover allowed, shifting to brave or anything else you suggest

They like Opera GX. Rates Opera as low-tier while Vivaldi is nearly identical. They reluctantly put Edge with Chrome. And dude says he has never used Zen but agrees with his co-host who likes Zen.

I think you overlooked arc - i know you said it’s focusing on max but i use it for both my phone and computer the best part about it is the tab organization it’s so easy to use and also some of the ai features on the ios app are quite nuce

Firefox might not be the fastest, doesn't have the flashiest features, the "prettiest" UI or sprinkle words like "AI" on everything, but it is a reliable workhorse with tons of plugins & isn't webkit based (thank god, as if google didn't control enough of the internet already).

Zen-browser in B tier but firefox in in C tier makes me sad :'( Zen-browser is literally a (as of now) extremely buggy UI (at least on Wayland) on top of vanilla Firefox. Firefox or Brave are probably the best alternatives overall out there today but i am concerned for Brave and the deprecation of v2 manifests (aka Google's anti-adblock initiative) because i highly doubt Brave will be unaffected (even if they'd like to state so themselves)

Good video/discussion, but seems like grade deflation. You're making S-tier pie-in-the-sky/ideal, rather than "here's the best browser you can use." Which really just means all your A browsers are S, so I'm going to give Zen a try!

For me, Edge should be a step above Chrome and Safari. I understand why they want to give the top three companies the same score, but Microsoft Edge is better.
