I was saved in 1980. Saw Keith in concert as my first "Christian" concert. Did not disappoint. His music and ministry basically mentored me as a new believer. I miss him a lot. Play on in heaven brother!

Right after his death in the plane accident I listened to this song. Till this day I remember the emotion I felt when the words "When I stand in Glory I will see His face" Knowing that now he is standing in Glory. Over 40 years later and that is still a pivotal moment in my faith.

Recommitted my life to Jesus Christ as I saw Keith Green perform this live in Summer 1982 at the San Diego Sports Arena concert !

Many of us responded to the strong Gospel call to repent of Sin & be filled & commissioned for God's work in our lives & families & communities.

This was now 42 years ago - I was 18 & a Senior in High School, now I'm 60.

My lovely late wife Sheri, of 32 years, was also there & lived out her love for Jesus & for me and our 5 children with passion & verve that was Divinely empowered !

None of us knew Keith was going home to Heaven about a year later in Summer 1983 in a plane crash tragedy near Lindale (Tyler) Texas.

We were devastated & shocked that God would take such a gifted & talented Singing minister away from us - but ours is not to reason why, but submit to God's Higher Ways, as High above us as are the Heavens !

My wife remained until her 56th year in 2021 - when Cancer was used of God to call her home to GLORY.

I wonder who all she has met in her Heavenly abode - someday I'll join her but meantime I'm singing God's praises.

Our Choir is singing this familiar song this Sunday and I may be one of the few (85 person Choir) who saw Keith Green perform this live.

Keith Green was a true minister of music. These pathetic excuses today are nothing more than performers making huge profits off of the word of god. He used to offer his CDs and magazine for whatever you could afford. People would send in anywhere from a dollar to 1, 000 for one of his albums. He never worried about making a profit is only goal was to spread the good news and the Holy Spirit. God Rest his precious soul

Keith Green stands in glory right now and has seen the face of Jesus. I hope his wife and surviving daughters are walking in his footsteps. His life was shortlived but he accomplished God's purpose for his life just like Nabeel Qureshi. May we all finish well

My always faithful sister suffered and died from cancer on Valentine’s Day this past year. She had me hooked on Keith green as a child. I am 18 years younger than her. As I cared for her during her last days at home on hospice, I played this song by her bedside and sang along. I am struggling with my faith as I mentally process what I saw such a giving and faithful soul went through.
