Fernando Casanova a Fraud?!?

I am Mexican and born into a Catholic family. When I heard Casanova’s testimony I started to learn more about my faith and apologetics and thanks to him I learned way more about my faith. Even last year I gave a talk to a group of parents in the Catholic Schools my kids go to about Mt. 5. And Casanova’s exegesis of it was my main point. So he is or was no “improvised” Catholic. He really is an expert in Biblical Exegesis. His problem, I think, started with Fiducia Suplicans. Which I understand to be a pastoral letter on blessing homosexual persons and not couples in an answer to what has been happening with the German Bishops. And I agree with it. But as we now many Catholics think this move is to open up to same sex couples blessings and ultimately marriages. Which I am certain will not happen but because the Holy Spirit will not let it happen. But for Casanova this was scandalous because he even wrote in X about gay clergy and was very stark about it. And all of this was a conclusion for him that the Office of the Papacy is a human invention. So as Luther did, his excuse is to undermine the dogma of Papal Infallibility and the Office of it. So he has expressed his frustration trying to downplay Catholic teachings, doctrines and dogmas so he can validate himself living.

Maybe instead of teaching and taking classes online he did it all by mail. Like the students would all gather in the classroom and one of them would read his letter.

Hi. I found out about Casanova from your video. Crazy.

I think he's just an emotional believer. Why did he abandon Pentecostalism in the first place if it only took the most basic argument against Roman authority to make him regret it? Emotion.

To you, the author: I would advice you steer away from ad hominems in your analyses; you seem like a serious Catholic and I like the format.
