Giant centipede crawls along man's arm

Skin-crawling footage of a giant venomous centipede scampering across her owner's arm.

The 30cm long insect was given a break from her tank and was seen crawling along the man's forearm in Taipei, Taiwan, on November 2.

Owner Neil Cheng Le said: ''This beautiful girl has always been exceptionally gentle, tolerant and easy to handle since I have had her.

''But lately her mood hasn't been so good. She climbs along my arm as soon as I try to get her stretched out for measuring, and she becomes quite agitated.''

The centipede is four years and 6 months old. She doesn't have a name.

Neil added: ''There's a risk when free handling any venomous insect and it should only be done by experienced handlers with great care.''

For those of you that don’t know this is a Peruvian giant centipede, they are more passive then aggressive differing from the smaller giant species. But they live in the Caribbean northern South America and parts of central and south Florida. Can be even seen as far north as the panhandle in Florida
