In this silver pros episode we discuss what silver is best between silver bars and silver rounds. When it comes to silver bars vs silver rounds there are a few considerations. Silver rounds are typically priced very reasonably and they look like silver coins. Silver bars can have the lowest premiums when it comes to silver stacking or investing in silver, but are usually found in large silver bars. When it comes to which size is best for silver stacking it depends on your budget and goals. We compare 1 oz silver bars to 1 oz silver rounds and the rounds came out on top. When it comes to 10 oz silver bars and 100 oz silver bars the tide shifts depending on stacking goals and budget. Which is best for you silver bars or silver rounds?

My preference (in terms of generic) is strictly 10 oz bars. Easier to stack. For smaller stuff, I like sovereign

I'm also a fan of 1 oz. rounds. My main reason is that I also like to see the different varieties of designs. Yes, I'm stacking silver, but I'm also collecting different pieces of "art"

If you’re looking to stack weight (meaning to trade fiat for a nice chunk of metal), I’d opt for an ounce of gold over a 100oz silver bar. The prices are comparable at that point and you’ll actually be saving on premiums with gold and have an easier-to-handle and more liquid form of money.

10 Oz bars I think are my favorite thing to stack. Rounds and coins are still a must though. But those 10 ouncers are just pleasing to handle.

For me its Govt Bullion > Bar > round
We're at a point where certain govt bullion is equal to or less than generic rounds, so I just go with the official one.

Until I have enough of rounds stashed, I won't consider bars, however a few smaller bars in a mix until my threshold is reached, I will stick to rounds. Thx for the video guys. 👍🇺🇸

My preference is 5- and 10-ounce bars, but there are some nice-looking rounds I'm interested in.

I have mostly rounds, and have started collecting old bars.

I mostly stack 10 oz bars until I can trade in for gold. They are just easier to liquidate come time to sell. But I love some Brittania coins and eagles

I'm fairly new to stacking and at first I decided strictly rounds. Almost 2 months later I have a mixture rounds, bullion, and bars. Most of what I have are bullion mainly due to liking the design better.

1:10 🔄 Definition clarification: Silver rounds described as circular discs of silver minted by private mints, resembling coins but without currency stamps.
3:25 💰 Varied preferences: Some individuals strongly prefer either rounds or bars, but both offer tangible assets against inflation.
6:06 💡 Consideration factors: Psychological benefits of rounds resembling traditional coins, while bars offer cost efficiency for bulk purchases.
10:45 🥇 Preferred choice: Personal preference often leans towards rounds for their familiarity and psychological association with money, although bars can offer better value for larger purchases.

Poured/cast vs Minted/pressed? I like the cast bars. Feels like treasure.

I only started stacking few months back so was getting 1oz silver rounds i like the brittiana as they have excellent security features i recently got a 10oz bar space wise is a lot easier to store opposed to 10 one oz coins, i have the stacking bug so will keep going every month silver/gold 😊

I’m going to buy both, so that if I have to barter someday, I can swap to their preference.

10 oz Canadian government bars and Britanias government bars are Superior to buffalo rounds if you have same price deal on them, but buffalo would beat any other generic bars. As of sizes the 10 oz bars are better than 1 oz because if you need some cash the range between $200 and $300 at a time is more common situation to happen for the average person than just the barter size of 1 oz silver rounds or bars. Usually 10 oz bars price is lower than 10x (1 oz) rounds at buying point. The kilo bars (32.15 oz) are also great at buying and when selling it's around $800 (more close to an average weekly paycheck) and that's a nice psychological way to look at it. 1 oz rounds are true the best size to barter as they look like a coin and they represent somehow the $20 bill (the most commonly used currency bill in day to day transactions). So in conclusion the kilo is a paycheck, the 10 oz bar is the best stacker (saving item), the 1 oz silver buffalo round is the silver representation of the $20 bill. It's only my opinions on those real money units!
