Cowbell cork sniffers may laugh, but I still love the sound of the Ridge Rider, it's the perfect punchy muted BONK.

A very worthwhile comparison. It's almost shocking how different these sound when you hear them played just seconds apart. Another LP fan, I'm still impressed with a bunch of the others. I think the more you know, the less brand loyal you end up. Isn't it crazy how much the Thomann ones ring out and ring on with sustain throughout being played. Filing no judgment either way on those or any of them, really. Let your own ears decide, and have fun playing.

Thank you for putting in the time and effort to make this video comparison! It was extremely helpful and too the point. Something about that ridge rider... so classic sounding

Wow! The Thomann's ones speak melodically...Maybe far from a traditional concept of Latin oriented bells, but very interesting for synfonic like applications.

The LP229 mambo cowbell sounds best to me. That low pitched throaty muted BONK sounds so fun

If you bought all of the thomman cowbells and arranged them in a line they could be fun to play out melodies, but the ridge rider is probably best for funky rock and pop beats, liking some of the Meinl ones as well

Thank you so much for your video! I bought the Mambo bell and it sounds great on almost everything! Good medium/low pitch for general applications.

I have the Millenium and it does its job very well. Costs 7, 50 Euro (£6.30) at the moment and is really great value for money.

Sonically the black beauty matched the setup. I like how it hit a defining tone then got out the way. I just got the city.

The Thomann ones are too resonant and overbearing for my taste.

The expression "more cowbell" wore thin long ago. Give it a rest. It was never even funny, Total bore.
