I did Ironman Canada 4 times 30 years ago. So sorry to hear it’s coming to an end. It was a fantastic race.

My best advice for your Ironman, that we always say on my local race: "Race with a smile"! If you can't smile towards the audience, you are going to hard, and if you smile to them, they will give you more energy back. Also, if you smile, the body will belive that you are enjoying it, and you will start feeling the enjoyment (fake it until you make it).

try and experiment with a lower saddle height for your back pain. As you fatigue, your heels may drop which makes your legs extend longer than when you were fresh. Thus rocking your lower back more. Idk if thats whats actually happening but something you could consider! You inspire me to aspire to become pro! Love your channel, Keep going!!
