Imagine flying through space in a ship and thinking you are okay because of high tech maps and radar on your ship, but you accidentally stumble upon a black hole that is almost invisible with no accretion disc and almost run into it. That would be scary!

I read this as "Scientists Discover Tiny Galaxy Inside Black Hole" lol

The thing I most appreciate about your channel is that it is a science channel that is actually scientific, which is extraordinarily rare. You are justifiably enthused by new discoveries, while being careful to distinguish the data from the hype.

Milky Way: it's an average sized black hole.
M-87: Whatever you gotta tell yourself, bud.

Big things often come wrapped in small packages. Very interesting galaxy with such hyper active star formation.
Thanks Anton!
Still thinking SPONSOR, SPONSOR. 👍👍👍

Six people are pissed Anton solved the chicken/egg conundrum.

Here’s a thought: What if aliens evolved on a planet orbiting a black hole? Black holes emit radio waves and not visible light, so would they SEE radio waves?

Thanks Anton, great video as usual! Loved your chicken and egg digression 😅 kept waiting on your "what da math" intro jingle??🙂

The more I know about Space the more depressing I get and I mean really depressing not omg i feel depressed. Our life span is so extremely short and we're gonna miss out on so many amazing discoveries that humanity will accomplish years from now, I truly hope death is not the end of all things.

It looks like an eye in the thumbnail bro. It scares the heck out of me.. great vid bro. 👍

I can only imagine trying to discover how a galaxy formed is extremely difficult due to their age and history. Much in the same way as our own solar system, we may never know what the early snapshot of it is due to gravitational interactions causing collisions, migrations and ejections.

Appreciate the beauty of your videos as well ☺

i bet this galaxy started good way....active and attractive to its stars...stars do like bigger holes...it make stars HOTTER..

How to classify the Galaxy types? I would classify them like boats. This tiny Galaxy would be a Dinghy class, and Galaxy's that could fit between two classes would get a major or minor prefix. Planets: my guess would be buildings.

Hello wonderful person.
I love your vids buddy. What program are you using and how decked out does my pc have to be to run it?
Thanks!

It's simple... After 2 galaxies collide and merge there are 2 possible outcomes:
1 - their central black holes merge and form new centre for new bigger galaxy.
2 - newborn supermassive black hole is expelled from galaxy:
2a - supermassive black hole in it's journey through the space start to collect gases and all other leftovers to form new galaxy.
2b - without supermassive hole in a middle second largest object (medium size black hole) become a new centre.
