Peak power output is about the same as Model 3 SR+ (220KW).
It is however pretty slow on the 0-50 and especially 0-20.
The throttle is mapped so that peak power only comes in above 50 kph.

Strange how it is smooth rather than push back in seats at first take off, still quick enough once Ur going, better value going for rwd definitely, can see myself getting one of these maybe a rwd extended range one but if u get them used maybe 2 or 3 years old they are half the price than new with maybe 20 or 30 thousand miles tops, they look amazing 😁👌🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

My 2020 LR AWD Model Y ran 4.7 0 to 60 as reported by my DRAGY, down loaded the Performance Boost Upgrade ($2K in the US) and it ran 4.14 0 to 60. I was 45 degrees that day and I think on a warmer day it would be faster.

Is it normal to take so long for a car to deliver its maximum power? In this case ~220kW? I understand that it should be progressive from 0kW to it’s maximum but it looks like this car ramps up kinda slow…

Here in the US, so many people choose pickup trucks, which are huge, inefficient, and very expensive (to buy and operate). Yet they rarely use the “pickup” feature (the bed, as we call it here). So they spend a ton of money to buy (and operate) a “feature” they rarely, if ever use, just to drag it around empty behind them.

I love my Model 3 SR+. I drive it daily, and on long road trips, alone and with my own wifey and two teenage boys. I never feel like I’m paying for something I don’t use DAILY.

What is RWD EV like compared to FWD EV when driving on snow? Living in Canada, I would not want to go back to RWD. I understand the weight ratios are are different but I feel FWD would always be better on snow.

Ford's first attempt at creating a real EV and it's a great success. It will get only better from here. Unless VW gets their shit together Ford will be the king of EVs in just a few years. Can't wait to see F-150 Lightning, it's going to be a blockbuster.

i haven’t seen a mach-e yet but i’ve seen several pictures and videos of them and to me it looks more like a ford escape than a mustang. does anyone else see the resemblance?
